From graduation until 1988, Harry worked for C. Iber & Sons, a large general contracting firm. His duties included estimating and project management; in 1982, he became Vice President of Field Operations.

In 1988, Harry joined the Murray Companies in Pennsylvania as President of the commercial construction company and President of MECO, the excavation company.

In 1994, Harry returned to Peoria and joined Illinois Piping Corporation. His duties include estimating, project management, and material procurement. Projects range from maintenance work to multi-million-dollar plant expansions for major industrial customers.
